Almond Whey Bake Mix #2 Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/3 cup ground almonds
- 3/4 spelt flour
- 1/2 cup natural whey protein powder
- 1/4 cup vital wheat gluten
In a medium bowl combine all ingredients. Mix well. Store in airtight container.

Low Carb Recipe Whey Tortilla

INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/3 cups almond whey bake mix #2
- 2/3 cup vital wheat gluten
- 1/2 cup wheat bran
- 1/3 cup spelt flour or all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons splenda
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon skim milk powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 20o degrees (F)
Pour the warm water in an electric mixer. Dissolve the sugar in the water and then sprinkle in yeast on top
Let sit for 5 minutes then stir to dissolve completely
Add the olive oil, almond whey bake mix#2, wheat gluten, wheat bran, flour, splenda, sugar, skim milk powder and salt
Scrape dough until its moist and elastic
Knead the dough on a nicely flowered surface and place in a greased bowl
Cover loosely with foil and place in oven. Turn the oven off and let the dough double in size (should be an hour)
Once the dough rises, remove, punch down and break into 20 small balls
Cover the dough balls with a clean dish towel to keep them from drying out
Roll each dough ball into a paper thin circle on a lightly floured surface
In a dry non stick skillet, cook each dough round briefly on both sides until brown spots appear.
SERVINGS: 20 Tortillas
CARBS: 4.4 grams

INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 cup plus 2 more tablespoons warm water
- 1/4 cup oat bran
- 1/2 cup ground almonds
- 1/3 cup vanilla flavored whey protein powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons vital wheat gluten
- 1/4 cup splenda
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 1 tablespoons raisins
Put the ingredients in your bread maker in the order given
Remove the loaf from the machine and bread case to cool
Enjoy!!
