If you can’t win the Euromillions, how about the 100meter. Six-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt just keeps proving he is one of the best athletes in the world, bar none. This time the 26-year-old proved it at Olympic Stadium for the Anniversary Games a year after the London 2012 opening winning in 9.85 seconds.
The huge crowd of around 60,000 roared as the likes of Bolt, Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis-Hill arrived. This was the last track and field event before next month’s World Championships in Russia. The 100m and 200m world record holder is without a doubt a mega-star. His talent on display as he bested Michael Rodgers who came in second.
